Description	Operates as a recycling organization. The Centre sorts all donations collected from the Salvation Army drop-boxes and distributes them to Salvation Army thrift stores.    The Centre does not generally offer a pick-up service for donations but may pick up certain items, or direct the donor to a local site. Donated furniture should be in good condition and not require repair. Drop-boxes are principally used for the donation of clothing items.    Collection site for the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Program (WEEE) for consumers and businesses to drop off unwanted electronics accepts * computers * printers * keyboards * monitors * disk drives * mice, scanners * CD- ROM drives * Fax machines * televisions * no industrial, commercial or institutional e-waste. Visit Do What You Can for more information about the WEEE program.    Oakville Salvation Army Drop-Box Location: Thrift Store, 356 Kerr Street.    Burlington Salvation Army Drop-Box Location: Thrift Store, 3245 Fairview Street.    The Oakville Recycling Centre does not serve as a Salvation Army Thrift Store, however there is a donation depot from 6:30 am-3 pm Monday to Friday.    Visit the website for other store locations or information about our organization.
