Description (Service) | Services altered in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) As Ontario moves through the steps of reopening the province, the government is gradually opening more facilities and services at Ontario Parks. For up-to-date details, see here ----------------------------------------------------- Ontario Parks protects and manages 335 provincial parks * parks are managed to protect representative and unique examples of Ontario's natural and cultural heritage * a majority of parks emphasize protection, but over 100 are operated to provide recreation including canoeing, hiking, nature viewing, camping, picnicking, swimming and fishing * many parks offer natural and cultural heritage education programs |
