DescriptionOffers peer support, hope and encouragement to grieving children, teenagers and their primary caregivers.  
* modelled after the Dougy Center in Portland, Oregon and the Seasons Centre in Barrie, Ontario.  
* founded on the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to grieve in a supportive and understanding environment. 
* families can receive the support they need while grieving the death of a loved one. 
 
The program consists of ongoing groups that focus on the child's/teen's experience of grief and loss, and on how family members can adjust to change and support the child's/teen's healing. 
* Extensively trained, committed volunteers facilitate groups, help families feel at home.
