Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Organization's motto is "Caring, sharing, and having fun". 
 
* fosters small group interaction among retired women teachers to help establish new friendships and maintain those of former colleagues 
* provides interesting, stimulating, and supportive programs for women teachers who are retiring earlier  
* sustains interest of current members  
* activities include regular bi-monthly bridge club * theatre * music * day trips * garden club * movie club * walking club * eating out once a month * creative coffee club 
* provides unique hospital and home care insurance plan available to RWTO members and their spouses at a reasonable cost 
* provides support for colleagues in times of illness, loneliness, stress and sorrow 
* four luncheons per year 
 
* donations to Sleeping Children Around the World, Kerr Street Mission, Food Share/Oakville Food Bank and various local charities as funds allow 
* craft projects for donation to third world countries
