* home visiting is offered to families through the Healthy Babies Healthy Children Program 
 
* Halton Breastfeeding Connection offers free mother-to-mother telephone support * mothers are linked to other mothers who provide support and encouragement during their breastfeeding experience * training sessions held at the Regional Office in Oakville for women interested in becoming volunteers.
