Description (Service)Provides advice to the Halton Regional Police Service regarding various issues related to elder abuse. 
Objectives are to provide: 
* a forum for interaction and information exchange between organizations that deal with seniors 
* training opportunities for volunteers and staff of agencies that deal with seniors 
* ongoing community education regarding elder abuse.
HoursAdministration Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm
MeetingsAdvisory committee: second Friday of every other month at 9:30 am for approximately 2 hours in the Halton Regional Police Service Headquarters Community Room or other Police Service location as agreed upon by the committee * for meeting dates and times contact ext 5064
