Description and Service Details
Description (Service) An advisory body to Regional Council through the Health and Social Services Committee which has two main responsibilities: 
* provides Regional Council and staff with advice on policy issues and services that affect Halton older adults 
* provides opportunities to enhance knowledge and understanding of older adults' issues to Regional Council, staff, OAAC members and to the public on issues affecting older adults 
* also responsible for publishing a number of resources for older adults in Halton
