BoundariesWaters of Lake Ontario (N) of water line to (S) 10nm from shore * (W) from the Petrocan Pier (Burloak Drive) to the St. Lawrence Cement Pier (E). Assistance beyond this boundary is provided at the request of the Canadian Coast Guard. 
 
DescriptionA volunteer Canadian Coastguard Auxiliary unit dedicated to the protection of life and property on Lake Ontario adjacent to the Oakville shoreline.  
 
* approximately 100 volunteers, comprised of ten crews and administrative staff provide a marine search and rescue capability during the boating season 
* the rescue boat operates from a Navy Street slip 
* members receive year round training in search and rescue, marine radio operations, navigation, boat handling, First Aid, and CPR
HoursCrew Patrols:  
Mon-Fri 6 pm-10 pm * weekends and holidays: 12 noon-10 pm, 
Remaining Mon-Sun 24 hour service covered by Call-out-phone
DatesTOWARF patrol season is from late April to the end of October. Emergency Call out service may extend into November.
