| Description | A volunteer Canadian Coastguard Auxiliary unit dedicated to the protection of life and property on Lake Ontario adjacent to the Oakville shoreline. * approximately 100 volunteers, comprised of ten crews and administrative staff provide a marine search and rescue capability during the boating season * the rescue boat operates from a Navy Street slip * members receive year round training in search and rescue, marine radio operations, navigation, boat handling, First Aid, and CPR | ||
