| Description | The Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy (OFCP) is an organization committed to supporting independence, inclusion, choice and full integration of all persons with cerebral palsy (CP) in Ontario. * provides and initiates a wide range of services, resources and programs for individuals with CP and their families as well as professional organizations Major Programs Planning Services Program: * assistance in developing a personal life planning guide covering areas such as home, community, employment, education and support services * ext 236 or planning@ofcp.ca Long Term Planning and Support Program: * assistance in developing life plans, estate plans, trustee support programs and support networks * ext 236 or ltp@ofcp.ca Assistive Devices Funding Program: * requests for all ages * financial assistance for devices including communication and writing aids, enteral feeding equipment, orthotics, respiratory equipment, wheelchairs, positioning and ambulation aids, bathing and washroom aids, home accessibility aids and electronic aids to daily living, car seats and hospital beds * ext 234 or adfp@ofcp.ca Activity Funding Program: * financial assistance for vacations and day activities for those with cerebral palsy * must become a Life Member to receive funding from this program *please visit the Activity Funding Program page to find out more about eligible activities. Membership Services Program: Individual membership: * open to all people with cerebral palsy, their parents and family members, professionals and supporters, who have an interest in the welfare of persons with cerebral palsy * individual members can apply for funding assistance from OFCP for equipment, vacations and community-based day programs * ext 222 Group membership: * group members are OFCP non-profit organizations who provide services to people with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities in their communities * ext 222 Educational and Recreational Services Program: * conferences, workshops, seminars, public speaking, print and audio/visual materials, newsletter * ext 226 Children and Families Program: * assistance and information on support services, funding resources, therapies, education, parenting issues and books * ext 224 or families@ofcp.ca.
