Description (Service) GROW New Entrant Worker Program: 
  • innovative and strategic free training program to close the gap on in-demand jobs/talent requirements identified in the landscape and horticulture industry 
  • 4 Weeks of soft skills and hard skills (employment and technical) training, combined with, 2 weeks of paid job placement, leading into long-term, full-time employment 
  • presently offered in hybrid (combination) of 2 weeks online learning, 2 weeks hands-on skills training and 2 weeks paid placement 
  • free bus service available from Toronto and Hamilton 
  • suitable for individuals interested in pursuing long term careers in the landscape and horticulture industry
