Description and Service Details
Description (Service) COVID-19 symptoms range from mild (like the flu and other common respiratory infections) to severe. Please visit the Ontario Ministry of Health website for latest information. 
 
If you are experiencing severe symptoms (trouble breathing or chest pain), please go to your nearest Emergency Department or call 911. 
 
Individuals must follow the appropriate screening tool or self-assessment tool to determine if they can enter a setting and/or get tested for COVID-19:

When to get tested

Check the COVID-19 test and testing location information to determine if you are eligible for COVID-19 testing 
 
You should be tested if: 
* you have COVID-19 symptoms 
* you had a high-risk exposure to COVID-19 
* a self-assessment screening tool instructed you to 
* you received a notification from the COVID Alert app 
* you have been advised to do so as part of an outbreak investigation

Home testing is available for clients with a physical or mental disability and are unable to get to a testing facility. Clients should speak to their health care provider for a referral for home COVID-19 testing.

Milton District Hospital: 725 Bronte Street South in Milton 
* Book an appointment online at fhhealth.com/pho (walk-ins only accepted based on availability) 
* Free parking available in Lots 2 and 3 
* Open 6 days a week: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 9 am-5 pm & Thu, Sat 11 am– 7 pm 
* Testing for ages 2 months and up 
 
Kinoak Arena: 363 Warminster Drive in Oakville (operated by Driver Check) 
* open seven days a week, from 9 am to 5 pm 
* testing is for Halton residents two years and older 
* to book, visit drivercheck.ca/ontariohealth and select the Kinoak Arena location 
* please remember to dress appropriately for the weather and bring a drink of water in case you need to wait in line
