Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Tax Related Assistance for Seniors and Persons with Disabilities: 
* property owners who are over the age of 65, or persons with disabilities, whose combined household income does not exceed $43,500 can apply for a property tax deferral for the year-over year tax increase 
* deferred taxes are registered as a lien on the property and are repayable upon the sale of the property  
* property owners over the age of 65 with a combined household income not exceeding $28,788 (other eligibility criteria apply) may apply for an annual tax rebate of $500
