Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Starter Company Plus is an entrepreneurship program designed to support and strengthen small business by providing training, mentoring and micro-grant opportunities for eligible individuals 18 years of age or older, to start, grow or buy a small business.  
 
The program is funded by the provincial Ministry of Economic Development and Growth.
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Halton Region
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
 
Individuals applying to the program must satisfy the following criteria: 
* 18 years of age or older at the time of application 
* proposing a new business, expansion of an existing business or buying a business 
* not attending school full-time nor returning to school for the duration of the program 
* resident of Halton Region 
* Canadian citizen or permanent resident 
* not currently enrolled or have participated in any provincial employment or self-employment related programs 
* not currently enrolled in any self-employment or entrepreneurship training/financing program offered by government funded organizations
