Description (Service) Major services:  
Adult day programs:  
* Innovations 
* Alternatives  
* Life Skills 
Speers Place Industries:  
* assists those 21 years or older who have a developmental disability to develop work skills that may lead to competitive employment  
* work experience gained both in sheltered environment and selected community locations  
* may include a variety of light industrial jobs  
* contract work done on a regular basis for companies such as Ford, Sanford etc. 
Adult and Adolescent Residential Services 
Supported Employment:  
* helps individuals to find/maintain employment in the community  
* job coaches work with the person and employer to achieve successful employment in the Oakville area  
* job coaches also provide support for a volunteer/work experience, work training and/or situational assessment 
Transition Planner - Passages:  
* support to individuals with an intellectual disability who are still in school  
* provides more options for future planning through a closer liaison with the school boards in Halton region 
After school Program:  
* program for students 5-21 years who have Autism or PDD  
* a safe secure environment  
gain new skills through community participation 
* Monday - Friday 3 pm-8 pm 
Donate your car:  
* working in conjunction with CharityCar and Green Vehicle Disposal to dispose of unwanted vehicles in an environmentally safe way  
* the recycled funds will assist CLO in accomplishing their goals and initiatives in educating the community to embrace individuals with developmental disabilities so that they can enjoy their right to lead active and productive lives
