DescriptionMCRC provides a variety of programs for school-aged children: 
1. Before and after school care at Chris Hadfield School, Hawthorne Village School, Bruce Trail School, P L Robertson, and in Campbellville. 
 
2. "After School Program" focuses on developing social skills and is designed to teach participants how to handle the everyday challenges like what to do if you are teased or bullied, how to deal with anger, how to make and keep friends, and how to stay home alone. These structured groups provide fun and friendship through group activities and cooperative games.  
 
3. Christmas Break, March Break, and Summer Day Camps are Special Programs running while school is out. These programs welcome all children and provide a wide variety of activities and experiences for children ages 6 to 12 years. Your child will be involved in our outdoor recreation, arts & crafts, sports, games and off-site trips. 
 
4. Supervised Youth Dances run one Friday per month from Sep-May at the Milton Leisure Centre for Grades 5 - 8. Advance tickets are sold at the MCRC. Snack bar is available. 
 
5. The Babysitter's Training Course teaches youth how to be an effective babysitter. Topics include first aid and CPR procedures, child development, how to care for an infant, home safety and behaviour management. Certificates given upon completion of course.
