| Description | A 200 bed long-term care home operated by the Region of Halton, primarily for seniors or individuals who require personal and nursing care and/or assistance with the activities of daily living. Services include: * room and board * 24-hour nursing supervision * routine care by health care aides (i.e., help with eating, dressing, bathing, walking) * levels of care include light, medium and heavy * bed occupancy types including basic (2 beds per room), private and private secure * private and shared bathrooms * occupational therapy or physiotherapy * regular and emergency medical care * social and recreational programs, as well the Milton Place Adult Day Program for the community and the Friends Landing Adult Day Program for community based cognitively-impaired adults * administration of medications/treatments * special diets * personal laundry * hairdressing * a 25 bed resident home area offering security to residents who wander * 2 respite (short stay) beds to provide relief for family caregivers | ||||||||
