DescriptionMCRC includes an Ontario Early Years Centre offering a variety of programs and services to parents/caregivers and children (newborn to 6yrs). There are no costs for Ontario Early Years Programs. 
 
The goal is to provide information to families on parenting issues and opportunities for parents to * share/receive information on positive parenting topics * network and find support in a welcoming environment * childcare available during parenting programs, preregistration required. 
 
Adult and Child Together: newborn to six years 
* an informal, unstructured, friendly drop-in program * interact with your child * creative activities, free play, circle and stories. 
 
Music and Movement Programs:  
* 7-week programs * adult and child participate together * children build on skills such as listening, speaking, counting, singing, moving and group participation * use balance beams, bean bag toss, balls, hoops, huge parachute.  
Cruisin & Groovin: 16 to 24 mths  
Toddler Jumpin & Jammin: 25 to 36 mths  
Preschool Jumpin & Jammin: 3 to 5 years 
 
Mother Goose: newborn to 12 months 
* 7 week program * encourages parents to "use the resources in themselves" to communicate and play with their children * parents get refresher on nursery rhymes, fairy tales and songs from their own childhood. 
 
New: Bilingual Mother Goose
HoursOffice: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm; Tue 8:30 am to 7 pm; 
Dad & Me Together (drop-in, 0-6 Yrs): 1st & 3rd Sat monthly, Sep to Jun, 9:30 am-11:30 am; 
Family Together (drop-in, 0-6 Yrs): 2nd & 4th Sat monthly, 9:30 am-11:30 am. 
Call to confirm Sat schedule.

Children newborn-6 yrs and their caregivers/parents.
ApplicationRegistration is required in some programs.  
Registration is based on a lottery system for Early Years Programs
FeesNone - No fees for Early Years programs.
