Description and Service Details
Description (Service) A community-based organization of volunteers in Halton Hills providing practical support and hope to cancer patients and their families * volunteer opportunities available

Services include:
  • transportation for cancer patients to and from treatment centres in Brampton, Hamilton, Mississauga, and Toronto
  • lending of equipment and supplies (assessed individually) such as hospital beds, walkers, canes, wigs, transportation chairs
  • palliative care assistance and home support on an assessed basis
  • Relaxation program (Reiki/Reflexology) to help patients return to health, or deal with the devastating side effects of treatment
  • For Goodness Sake (FGS) program (assisting patients with a diagnosis of mouth cancer to communicate with family via iPad with voice recognition)
Hours Mon-Fri 9am-5pm * closed for lunch 12noon-1:15pm
