Description (Service) 200 bed long-term care home operated by the Region of Halton * residential care for 118 private rooms, 40 basic rooms (2 beds per room) * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals * 25 bed resident home area offering security to residents who wander
  • bedding and furniture
  • laundry and housekeeping
  • meals
  • personal hygiene supplies
  • medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies)
  • assistance with medication and activities of daily living
  • recreation and social programs

Additional services and facilities:
  • Milton Place Adult Day Program for the community
  • Friend's Landing Adult Day Program for community based cognitively-impaired adults
  • routine care by health care aides (help with eating, dressing, bathing, walking)
  • levels of care include light, medium and heavy
  • private and shared bathrooms
  • occupational therapy or physiotherapy
  • spiritual support
  • special diets
