Description (Service) Health care organization providing publicly funded health care services * has three main hospitals: Georgetown Hospital (GH), Milton District Hospital (MDH), and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) * provides a wide range of programs and services including ambulatory care, cancer care, diabetes program, diagnostic imaging and laboratory, emergency departments, foot care and orthotics, geriatrics, intensive care, maternal newborn and pediatrics, medical education, mental health, nephrology, outpatient services, spiritual care, inpatient and same-day surgery, and rehabilitation services

Georgetown Hospital - Community hospital providing mostly primary care to residents of Halton Hills

Milton District Hospital - 63-bed acute care hospital with emergency department * hospital expansion is underway to increase inpatient beds from current 63 to 129, and is anticipated to open for patient care in Fall 2017 * case managers from the Mississauga Halton Community Care Access Centre (MHCCAC) available on site

Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital - A full-service acute care community hospital that offers a comprehensive range of services including 24/7 emergency care, maternal newborn and pediatrics, medicine, surgery, intensive care, diagnostic imaging, medical education, mental health, rehabilitation and geriatrics * 457 inpatient beds
