Description (Service) Major services:

Cancer support
  • matches cancer patients and their caregivers with volunteers who have been through the same experiences * service available in English, French and many other languages

Volunteer transportation provides transportation to cancer treatment centres including:
  • Juravinski Cancer Centre
  • Joseph Brant
  • McMaster
  • Princess Margaret
  • Sunnybrook
  • Mount Sinai
  • Credit Valley
  • all Toronto area hospitals
  • 3 business days notice is required
  • new patients who register with the transportation service will be required to pay a yearly $100 registration fee
  • youth 18 years old or younger will not be charged
  • if patients are unable to pay the full registration fee, they may be eligible for assistance through the compassionate program
