Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Works with children's and community hospitals in Ontario to provide a range of services

Financial Assistance -- for some of the costs families incur while a child is in cancer treatment

Satellite Clinic Program -- transfers aspects of a child’s care to a community hospital closer to home

AfterCare programs -- regularly monitor childhood cancer survivors for long-term effects from cancer treatment

POGO Interlink Community Care Nurses -- provide family support and nursing care, and facilitate school re-entry

Successful Academic and Vocational Transition Initiative (SAVTI) -- assistance in transitioning from high school to postsecondary education or employment for childhood cancer survivors who have developed learning disabilities due to their illness and treatment

POGO's Guide to Services in Ontario -- online access to database of services for children with cancer

Professional education for health care professionals -- annual symposium, education days
