Description (Service) Independent, adjudicative tribunal * resolves labour and employment disputes between employers, employees and trade unions * handles applications specified by the Labour Relations Act, including those concerning certification and decertification of trade unions, unfair labour practices, and illegal strikes or lockouts * also deals with applications concerning unlawful reprisals for exercising rights under the Occupational Health and Safety Act
