Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Funded by Service Canada this is a 16 week paid employment training program that is done in 2 phases. Each phase is 8 weeks long. Phase I occurs at the Living Rock and is a combination of practical work experience and employment skills development. For Phase II, youth are placed 8 weeks with an employer where they gain valuable job experience.  
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) - 30 year(s) 
 
16 and 17 year olds must have permission from their respective school boards to be able to participate in the program. 
People who are in receipt of Employment Insurance Benefits,or have previously collected Employment Insurance Benefits, are not eligible. 
 
Youth must complete the application process to be eligible.
Application Youth who have completed necessary paperwork with an MTCU organization and completed a TRI-Rock interview at the Living Rock.
