Uses running to engage youth, educating them about better mental health and providing them with the skills and tools to better cope with stress. Aims to reduce the stigma of youth mental illness, build awareness of mental health issues, and to promote the positive effect of physical health on mental health. Also, raises awareness and helps bring people closer to the issues through speaking engagements, workshops, special events and media. Works with students and parents, social workers, school boards, hospitals, universities and many other health and community partners across Ontario.
Originated from CameronHelps, which helps to raise awareness of youth suicide.
