Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Saint Elizabeth Health Care, in partnership with the HNHB LHIN is providing the Stand Up program across regions of Hamilton, Niagara, Haldimand Norfolk and Brant Counties as well as the City of Burlington.  
 
Each program runs for 12 weeks and classes are held twice per week during the 12 weeks.  
 
Programs do run in different areas at the same time and are held throughout the year at various sites throughout the Hamilton and surrounding areas. 
 
The program provides: 
* A group exercise training program to prevent falls 
* A 1 hour exercise class two times a week with 1/2 hour weekly educational discussion for 12 weeks 
* Maximum of 20 seniors register and participate 
* Graduates transition to other community exercise programs
