Description (Service) Assists internationally trained veterinarians to obtain their license and find employment * offers training in workplace culture, medical ethics, business skills 
 
Joint project of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO), the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) and the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph (OVC), in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration

Eligibility To obtain an Ontario license to practice veterinary medicine, most internationally trained veterinarians must pass three examinations: 
* Basic and Clinical Sciences Exam (BCSE) 
* North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) 
* Clinical Proficiency Examination (CPE)
Application All internationally trained veterinarians who have passed either the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) or the Basic and Clinical Sciences Exam (BCSE) may apply for VSTEP * applicants must pass both the NAVLE and the CPE before applying for licensure * VSTEP application forms available through website
