Description (Service) | Services altered in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) City staff continue to work remotely and are ready to assist the community in the delivery of as many services as possible * for information and updates on City services, including what’s open and closed visit burlington.ca/coronavirus -------------------- Offers safe spaces for youth in grades 6 to 12 at various locations across the city to engage, interact and be heard Program is offered at five different locations: * Aldershot Arena, 494 Townsend Ave * Aldershot Pool, 50 Fairwood Place W * Haber Community Centre, 3040 Tim Dobbie Dr * Mountainside Community Centre, 2205 Mount Forest Dr * Tansley Woods Community Centre, 1996 Itabashi Way Free drop-ins (for times and locations, see Hours below): * equipped with devices, games and activities * youth are encouraged to bring their skateboard, scooter or inline skates in spring/summer * skating in Mountainside (Fri evening program only) and Aldershot arenas in winter * swimming at Mountainside in summer * all activities are free * youth workers provide supervision inside the building only * participants can come and go as they please |
