Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Symphony on the Bay has a forty-three-year track record of meeting its mission – to enrich Burlington, Hamilton and the surrounding area with a high calibre community symphony orchestra, and to perform a wide repertoire of symphonic music accessible to a larger public. The orchestra consists of 7 professional players and 60 community players. We perform six concerts per year, mostly in the Burlington Performing Arts Centre

Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
 
Must play an orchestral instrument (strings, woodwind, brass, percussion) and have several years of experience playing. Orchestral experience is preferred but not required. Audition may be required.
Application Contact Andrea Armstrong, Personnel Manager, through email form on website to set up an interview and audition. Audition is informal, with candidate performing a piece of their choice. The conductor will be looking for pitch, rhythm, musicality and ability to follow instruction
