Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Incorporated non-profit community group whose aim is to restore and preserve the historic Freeman Station for the enjoyment of current and future generations.  
The Freeman Station, built in 1906 by the Grand Trunk Railway, has been recognized for its architectural and historic significance by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada, the Ontario Ministry of Culture and Heritage Burlington  
Station has been relocated to about 500 ft east of the Burlington Central Fire Station property at 1285 Fairview St, Burlington * visible from Fairview St and from Fire Station property * still under restoration and not yet open to the public except by special arrangement
Hours Board of Directors Meetings are usually monthly, at Burlington City Hall, see website for details * meetings are open to the public Volunteer work typically Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat during warm weather
