Description (Agency) Non-profit group of women of all ages (do not have to be a grandmother), that acts locally in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign, which seeks to raise awareness and mobilize support for African grandmothers struggling to secure a future for their grandchildren orphaned or made vulnerable due to HIV/AIDS

Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Funds donated through Oomama, Grandmothers Helping Grandmothers, go directly to the Stephen Lewis Foundation which seeks to raise awareness and mobilize support for African grandmothers struggling to secure a future for their grandchildren orphaned or made vulnerable due to HIV/AIDS 
 
Donated funds are used to provide grandmothers with assistance such as food, school fees and school uniforms for their grandchildren, income-generating projects, counselling and social support and coffins for burial of loved ones.
Hours Meet third Tue of each month 9 am-12 noon at The Kensington * see website for details
