Service DescriptionThe Senior Driver Renewal Program requires drivers aged 80 years and over to renew their licence every 2 years.

Beginning April 21, 2014, the Senior Driver Renewal Program will be shorter and simpler.

Once drivers reach 80 years of age they must:
* take a vision test
* undergo a driver record review
* attend a shorter group education session
* complete two, brief, non-computerized in-class screening exercises
* the full process will take approximately 90 minutes

If necessary the driver will be required to take a road test

You can download the in-class screening practice test (part of the education session) in one of 16 languages as well as English and French.
