Description (Service) A registered charity that manages the safe, secure, and cost-effective supply of blood, blood products and their alternatives, and operates Canada's independent national blood supply system in a manner that nurtures the trust, commitment and confidence of all Canadians. 
Unique services also provided include: operating the OneMatch Stem Cell and Marrow Network * building and operating Canadian Blood Services' Cord Blood Bank * managing national patient registries for organ donation and transplantation

Eligibility Ages: 17 year(s) and up 
Donor must weigh over 50kg (110 lbs) * must be in general good health and feeling well 
If between 17th & 23rd birthday (first-time donor), visit blood.ca for additional information 
At the time of donation, there will be further questions to determine eligibility. 
Minimum interval between blood donations is 56 days for males and 84 days for females.
Application Although the clinic has regular hours, an appointment is recommended * identification with full name and signature, or full name and photograph, is required
