| Description (Service) | Services altered in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) City staff continue to work remotely and are ready to assist the community in the delivery of as many services as possible * for information and updates on City services, including what’s open and closed visit burlington.ca/coronavirus -------------------- Fenced leash-free areas for dogs Rules: No aggressive dogs are allowed * pit bulls must be muzzled and leashed at all times (Dog Owners Liability Act R.S.O 1990 C.D.16 Ontario Regulation 157/05) Owners * are responsible for the actions of their dog(s) * must have control of their dog(s) at all times, whether on or off the leash * must stay with their dog(s) at all times * should carry a leash at all times * may have a maximum of two dogs off the leash at one time * must pick up and dispose of their dog's waste * must make sure their dog is wearing a current licence tag on its collar and has current vaccinations For complete information, including fines see here Locations: * Bayview Park (WAG Park - Where Animals Gather), 1800 King Rd (north of N Service Rd) * Norton Park (Alton), 4275 Dundas St (northwest corner of Cornerstone Dr, west of Wal-Mart) * Roly Bird Park 2203 Industrial St (off North Service Rd between Brant St and Guelph Line) |
