Service DescriptionLicensed 93 bed long-term care home licensed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, primarily for seniors or individuals who require personal and nursing care and/or assistance with the activities of daily living. 
 
Services include: 
* room and board  
* regular and emergency medical care  
* 24-hour nursing supervision  
* routine daily care by health care aides and personal support workers  
* administration of medications/treatments  
* occupational therapy and physiotherapy * restorative care  
* palliative care  
* special diets  
* personal laundry  
* social and recreational programs 
 
The home is committed to a multidisciplinary approach to the philosophy of care designed to assist residents to maintain and restore an optimal level of independence and enhancement of their quality of life. * programs encourage mobility and interaction in a safe and secure environment 
 
* many residents have dementia or Alzheimer's disease  
* art therapy is offered at least once weekly for residents with moderate to severe cognitive impairment as well as a life skills program provided daily  
* other programs include: exercising, pet therapy, aroma therapy, baking, gardening, music, pubs, birthday parties, memorial services, picnics, barbecues, shopping trips and more
