Literacy and basic skills training, including numeracy, digital, communication and interpersonal skills * helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence 
 
* Academic Upgrading for college entry and employment readiness 
* Academic preparation for the skilled trades 
* Grade 12 equivalency (English and Math) for entrance to college, apprenticeship or employment 
* Deaf Empowerment Program 
* Free GED (General Education Development) prep
Hours Main office (Room J137e at Fennell Campus)  
Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Burlington ; Hamilton (City of) ; and surrounding area
Eligibility Ages: 19 year(s) and up 
 
Ontario residents: 
* who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Ontario or protected persons in Canada (with Notice of Decision) 
* 19 years and older, with reading, writing and math skills below Grade 12 of the Ontario curriculum  
* must have facility in English CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) level 7
