Description (Service) An initiative that helps Canadian youth connect with one another, experience the diversity of Canada's communities, languages and cultures, and get involved in the future of the country. 
 
Youth Exchanges  
* reciprocal exchanges for individuals or groups between the ages of 12 and 17 
* groups from different parts of Canada are paired according to their ages and interests  
* each participant takes a turn hosting their 'twin' in their home 
 
Youth Forums  
* funds Canadian organizations that provide workshops and conferences that connect youth 
* for youth between the ages of 14 and 25 who share an interest in Canadian issues, institutions, history, official languages, sports or the arts 
* workshops held in a central location

Youth Exchanges 
* must be between the ages of 12-17 * a Canadian citizen or permanent resident 
 
Youth Forums  
To be eligible for funding the organization must be ONE of the following: 
* a legally-constituted non-profit organization 
* a provincial or territorial government  
* a public or private school 
* a school board or other educational institution such as a college or university
