DescriptionOffers a variety of programs and services to families with children ages 0-6. Parents may obtain information regarding healthy child development and access early years services in the community. 
 
Major Services: 
* accessible, quality, social and educational programs, informal support networks 
* a variety of registered programs for parents and their children 
* informal drop-in programs 
* parenting courses, workshops and guest speakers 
* resource library for parents 
 
Cumberland Parent-Child Drop-in Programs 
* Drop-in Program: for parents/caregivers and children 0-6 years of age * activities include creative art and sensory activities * toys * free play * reading or circle times. Mondays, 9:15 am-12 pm, Thursdays, 1 pm-7 pm, Saturdays, 11:15 am-3 pm. 
* My Baby and Me Drop-in: babies up to 16 months, adults enjoy conversation and meeting others while babies enjoy toys, songs and activities. Friday 2 pm-3:30 pm.  
 
Cumberland Parent-Child Registered Programs  
* Mother Goose: parents and babies (up to 12 months) learn interactive rhymes, songs and story telling in a relaxed atmosphere. 
* Creep, Crawl and Toddle: parents and children 8-16 months enjoy a fun filled morning of songs, rhymes, stories and sensory activities. 
* Wiggles, Squiggles and Giggles: creative movement and art program for toddlers 16 mos - 2 years of age; creative activities, music, songs and movement games. 
* Creative Movement and Art: parents and children ages 2 years; movement activities, creative art, sensory play, free play, songs and stories. 
* Dad's Program: Dads and children ages 0-6, chance to talk with other dads, learn games and songs; story time, free play, music and movement activities. 
* Childcare Provider's Playgroup: in-home childcare providers have a chance to meet to share ideas, learn new creative activities, games, songs and techniques. During the morning children enjoy art, music, and large muscle activities. 
* Fit as a Fiddle: an active movement program with play time focusing on large muscle activities followed by music and movement games and activities and ending with free play and creative activities. 
 
Registration is by lottery and takes place 6 times a year. Call or visit website for details.  
 
Cumberland Parent Programs  
* Thursday Morning Parenting Series: offers a learning opportunity for parents. Guest Speakers and our Parent Educator provide valuable information about family, parenting, and health issues. Supervised children's programs provided.  
 
Registration is by lottery and takes place 6 times a year. Call or visit website for details.
