Description (Service) | Services altered in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) City staff continue to work remotely and are ready to assist the community in the delivery of as many services as possible * for information and updates on City services, including what’s open and closed visit burlington.ca/coronavirus -------------------- A seniors' centre for those age 55 and older in a club-like atmosphere * programs are also offered in locations throughout the City, for more information see here Programs available will be based on Provincial Regulations and Public Health and may include: * arts, games, and continual learning * fitness, sports, and dance * socials and day trips * TelePALS - phone-in discussion or listening programs * virtual programming Designated as a local cooling centre during times of extreme heat and a warming centre during times of extreme cold |
