Accepts and attempts to resolve complaints lodged by the public about the conduct of RCMP members * specifically, it conducts reviews when complainants are not satisfied with the RCMP's handling of their complaints, conducts investigations, holds hearings, reports findings and makes recommendations for changes in national policing policy and practice.
