Description and Service Details
Description (Service) A volunteer citizens' advisory committee to Council, reporting through the Committee of the Whole. 
 
BAAC provides advice on identification, removal and prevention of barriers to people with disabilities in the municipality's by-laws and policies, programs and services.  
* assists with preparation of the City's multi-year accessibility plan  
* regularly reviews site-plans submitted to the Planning Department  
* promotes accessibility and disability awareness through public education, trade shows, and the Burlington's Best Awards
Hours Office: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm. 
Meetings second Thu of each month (Jan-Jun * Sep-Nov) at 7 pm in City Hall
