DescriptionProvides food assistance, emergency housing, furniture and clothing assistance, advocacy and referral service. 
 
* has several healthy lifestyle programs and transitional housing programs in partnership with regional government * call Halton Region directly at 905-825-6000 ext 7434, 7089 or 7263 for Intake Workers.  
 
* emergency services respond to a variety of emergency situations and includes * food bank * clothing * some assistance with overdue utility bills * emergency shelter at Lighthouse Shelter, Oakville. 
 
* food bank serves those who live east of Guelph Line * those who live west of Guelph Line are referred to Partnership West Food Bank
 
* may also provide assistance to those in need of transportation to Milton Criminal or Family Court, or other locations. 
 
Hampers and toys are provided at Christmas * camps in the summer.
HoursMon-Fri 9 am-3 pm; 
Food bank: Mon-Thu 9 am-noon; afternoon and Friday appointments are available.
EligibilityAssistance is geared to income * Burlington residents only.
ApplicationHousing: Provide up-to-date ID, address and current income information to complete an application for Halton Region * call Halton Region directly at 905-825-6000 ext 7434, 7089 or 7263 for Intake Workers. 
 
Food Bank: Intake form completed on first visit to check residency and assess needs * ID must be shown on subsequent visits.
