Provides food assistance, emergency housing, furniture and clothing assistance, advocacy and referral service 
 
Healthy lifestyle programs and transitional housing programs in partnership with regional government * call Halton Region directly at 905-825-6000 ext 7434, 7089 or 7263 for Intake Workers 
 
Emergency services respond to a variety of emergency situations and include: * Food Bank (part of Burlington Food Share seasonal food drive, see 'Public Comments' above) * clothing * some assistance with overdue utility bills * Halton Lighthouse emergency shelter in Oakville 
 
Other: provides Christmas hampers and toys for those in need (partner in Christmas Toys for Tots Program) * camps in the summer

Food Bank: Mon-Fri 9 am-11:30am * afternoon appointments are available if arranged at least one day in advance
EligibilityAssistance is geared to income * Burlington residents only
ApplicationHousing: provide up-to-date ID, address and current income information to complete an application for Halton Region * call Halton Region directly at 905-825-6000 ext 7434, 7089 or 7263 for Intake Workers 
 
Food Bank: intake form completed on first visit to check residency and assess needs * ID must be shown on subsequent visits
