Public Comments Services altered in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) 
 
The City of Burlington has cancelled all City-run spring and summer programs (this includes activities such as summer camps, recreation programs, festivals and events, swimming and skating drop-ins that were originally offered in the Live & Play Guide) 
* programs will be refunded to the credit card used when possible (others will have a credit placed on their account * cheque refunds will be issued based on specific email requests) 
 
All facility rentals up to and including Sep 7, including arenas, pools, community centres, schools, sport fields and picnics are cancelled 
* rentals will be refunded to the credit card used when possible (others will have a credit placed on their account) 
 
Some recreation facilities, parks, playgrounds, sports fields and City administration facilities are closed to the end of June 
* essential services and those services that provide direct support to keep residents and staff safe will be maintained (these include areas such as Burlington Fire, Burlington Transit including Handi-Van, Traffic Services, ByLaw Enforcement, Roads, Parks and Forestry Operations, Building Inspections and ServiceBurlington) 
* staff continue to work from home to maintain City services such as Community Planning, City Capital Works and various Corporate Services

The Centre is fully accessible and includes:  
* double and single gymnasium with cushioned floor and automatic full-court basketball nets  
* multipurpose areas suitable for a variety of activities  
 
Programs offered include:  
Preschool * parent and tot preschool * adult and children sports * dance * fitness classes * badminton * yoga * tai chi * School Break programming 
 
* rental facilities are available 
 
* designated as a local cooling centre during times of extreme heat and a warming centre during times of extreme cold
Hours Sep to mid-Jun: Mon-Fri 9 am-4 pm * Sat 9 am-3 pm 
Summer: Mon-Fri 9 am-4 pm
