Description	Burlington Transit operates Burlington buses and, Handi-Van service for people with physical disabilities     Route maps and schedules (also available from bus drivers, GO train stations and downtown bus terminal, 430 John St) * additional service is provided on some routes by taxis when ridership is low, see Dial-a-Ride     Fares     SPLIT (Subsidized Passes for Low Income Transit) provides subsidy covering 50% or more of the cost of a monthly transit pass to low income residents, to apply call Halton Region by dialing 311 or 905-825-6000     PRESTO electronic fare card can be purchased online at www.prestocard.ca (may take up to seven business days to receive in the mail) or at the Burlington Downtown Transit Terminal    Ticket Sales Agent Locations     Connections to Hamilton: (call HSR information 905-527-4441 - press 0, Mon-Sun 24 hours or check website before leaving * ask driver for free transfer)  1) Burlington Route 1 West terminates at King and James (Jackson Square) in downtown Hamilton  2) Hamilton Street Railway Route 11 Parkdale bus (east Hamilton) leaves from Burlington Downtown Transit Terminal     Connections to Waterdown: (call HSR information 905-527-4441 - press 0, Mon-Sun 24 hours or check website before leaving * ask driver for free transfer)  Hamilton Street Railway Route 18 bus (weekdays only) from Aldershot GO/VIA station to Waterdown, along Dundas St to Hwy 6 and back along Parkside Dr    Connections to Oakville: (call Oakville Transit 905-815-2020, Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm or check website before leaving * ask driver for free transfer)  Oakville Transit Routes 14 and 32 follow Burloak Dr with transfer points to and from Burlington Transit at Lakeshore Rd and New St
