DescriptionBurlington Transit operates Burlington buses and, Handi-Van service for people with physical disabilities  
 
Route maps and schedules (also available from bus drivers, GO train stations and downtown bus terminal, 430 John St) * additional service is provided on some routes by taxis when ridership is low, see Dial-a-Ride  
 
Fares  
 
SPLIT (Subsidized Passes for Low Income Transit) provides subsidy covering 50% or more of the cost of a monthly transit pass to low income residents, to apply call Halton Region by dialing 311 or 905-825-6000  
 
PRESTO electronic fare card can be purchased online at www.prestocard.ca (may take up to seven business days to receive in the mail) or at the Burlington Downtown Transit Terminal
