DescriptionAn accredited children's mental health centre offering therapeutic treatment programs for children and youth between the ages of 7and 17 years who are experiencing social, emotional, learning and behavioural difficulties.  
Major services: 
Children's Program: After School Treatment Program * therapeutic groups * Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Acton and Georgetown * focuses on self-esteem, social knowledge, expression of feelings, anger management, life skills, problem solving, peer relations, leadership/risk taking, community awareness, bullying 
Parenting Program: parent support offered in conjunction with the After School Treatment Program * focuses on effective parenting strategies, promoting positive behaviours and parent child relationships 
Individual and Family Counselling: various counselling formats focusing on effective parenting, family functioning and emotional/behavioural difficulties experienced by the child in the home, school and community 
Reconnecting Youth : community based treatment program for youth between the ages of 15 and 17 years * enhances effective community involvement and life skills * addresses teen issues such as self-esteem and anger management * individual and family counselling (as described above) 
Saturday Social Skills Program: for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder * operates four times a year, eight week sessions * teaches essential interpersonal and communication skills * interactive group recreational programming 
Intensive Half Day Program: for children with severe social/emotional issues struggling to stay in school * one half day a week during school year * focuses on development of effective social/emotional skills and learning strategies that enable them to maintain their school placement and function effectively in the home and community 
HoursOffice Mon-Fri 9 am-4 pm; 
Program Mon-Thu (September-June) 3 pm-8 pm; 
Summer Program Mon-Thu (July-August) 9 am-3 pm
