Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Thrift store run by Goodwill, a social enterprise that helps people overcome employment barriers and obtain work, serving the Burlington area.  
 
Collects, sorts and resells various types of items 
* goods must be in working order and require no reconditioning prior to resale 
 
Items accepted include: 
* clothing  
* accessories  
* jewellery (new and recycled)  
* books, including hardcover and paperbacks in good condition, post-secondary level textbooks for Textbooks for Change (any topic or age of textbook accepted, separate from other donated items 
* curtains  
* bedding 
* some toys  
* dishes  
* small appliances  
* electronics 
* housewares  
* small furniture  
* walkers and wheelchairs 
 
No mattresses or large appliances  
 
To donate goods, drop off at store during open hours 
* Goodwill is unable to pick up donations  
* Goodwill no longer issues tax receipts for donated items
