Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Qualified youth workers provide support for a variety of youth issues ranging from severe situations to everyday problem solving.  
* safe, supervised, drop-in environment where youth can hang out  
* a lounge, snack bar, games, computers, tv 
* youth friendly activities and educational discussions 
* counselling, advocacy, information and referrals to other services 
* crisis intervention 
* family counselling 
* employment counselling 
* volunteer opportunities 
Parent and individual youth support:  
* assists parents in forming positive relationships with their children through developing strategies for positive communication, dealing with behaviours, coping with external influences.  
* assists youth with positive decision making * conflict resolution * relationships * coping skills
Hours Tue, Web, Thu 11 am-2 pm (Sep-June) * Tue, Wed, Thu hours vary (Jul and Aug) see website for details * private Parent and Youth support Mon-Fri by appointment
