Description (Service) An anonymous fellowship, separate from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), of relatives and friends of alcoholics. 
* non-professional, self-supporting, spiritually based, apolitical  
* members share experience, strength and hope in order to solve common problems 
* based on the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions adapted from AA 
* part of the Al-Anon Fellowship designed for younger relatives and friends, up to age 19, of alcoholics  
* follows the same Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and principles as Al-Anon 
* members conduct their own meetings with the guidance of a certified Al-Anon Sponsor 
* members focus on sharing and learning effective ways to cope with their common problems and challenges
